If one ever questions whether some personal injury attorneys are more motivated by greed than justice, a recent Wall Street Journal editorial is a must read. Earlier this year, Oklahoma passed a host of legal reforms that included limitations on non economic damages for malpractice suits. With these reforms about to take effect, a leading Oklahoma plaintiff's attorney sent out an all points bulletin email that read "DANGER! TORT REFORM LEGISLATION EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1ST. FILE YOUR LAWSUITS NOW!"  Since California has the distinction of being one of the worst states for lawsuit abuse, don't be surprised if this law firm pulls up its stakes in Oklahoma and makes its way West!
